Pressure Reducing Control Valve
Pressure Reducing Hydraulic Control Valves
It is used to reduce the high pressure value in the water transmission network lines to a lower desired value. Pressure reducing control valves maintain the adjusted output pressure value without being affected by flow and flow changes in the network. Pipe diameter is not taken into account when choosing valve diameter. The valve diameter can be selected as small or one larger than the pipe diameter. Cavitation values should be taken into account when choosing the valve diameter.
Product features
Pressure reducing hydraulic control valve works fully automatically with mains pressure without needing any external energy.
The 2-way pressure reducing pilot valve used on the control valve reduces the output pressure to the desired value without being affected by the flow rate changes in the network.
When the inlet pressure value in the network drops below the desired outlet pressure value, the valve opens fully.
In water transmission networks with variable flow rate, it is recommended to connect a pressure reducing control valve with a smaller diameter than the existing pressure reducing control valve to the network as a by-pass line.
When there is no water in the mains, the valve closes itself automatically.
