Relief (Press Relief) Control Valve
Relief (Pressure Relief) Control Valve
Quick pressure relief control valves; When the pressure in the system exceeds a certain limit value, it is used to relieve the system by opening the excess pressure. When the system pressure drops to the limit value set by the valve, the valve closes again. The pressure value of relief valves is adjusted by the pilot valve used on it. The set value of the pilot valve is not affected by the back pressure at the outlet.
Product features
The valve protects the piping system and other armatures by quickly evacuating the excess pressure that may occur in the mains pressure to the atmosphere.
Relief control valves keep the pressure in the system constant regardless of flow rate changes.
The control mechanism of the Relief Pilot Valve opens quickly to keep the system pressure constant when the flow of the system decreases. When the system pressure drops to the value set by the valve, it closes without causing a shock.
The valve opens quickly and after completing the discharge process, it closes slowly without creating a pressure fluctuation in the network again.
The valve works completely hydraulically with line pressure without requiring an extra energy source. Since the design of the valve is globe type, its maintenance is very easy and inexpensive. The valve works reliably even in horizontal and vertical installations.
Relief control valves are installed in the network as TEE .
