Latch Solenoid Valves provide more energy savings by operating at much lower power than standard Solenoid Valves.

Latch solenoid valves are valves operated with energy-saving DC coils in which the normally open or closed valve position is changed by reverse pulses given for a short time such as 200 ms. It is not necessary to continuously supply energy to ensure that the valve remains in the changed position; when the position is to be changed again, a 200 ms pulse in the reverse direction is sufficient. It is possible to operate the valve normally closed or open as desired with the electronic control circuit.

Operation of Latch Solenoid Valves:

In Latch Solenoid Valves, it is placed on the upper part of the valve. A permanent magnet is built in which no electrical input is required. The field of this small magnet is not sufficient to activate the piston. However, when the valve is fully opened, the permanent magnet is strong enough to hold the valve open. This allows the valve to remain open after the initial electrical power has been turned off, saving significant potential energy. The valve will remain open until another electrical load of the opposite polarity is applied. This is particularly useful when the valve is open for long periods of time or when it is battery operated and needs to save as much energy as possible.

THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN SELECTING A SOLENOID VALVE
-The coil should be selected according to the operating voltage where it will be used (AC-DC). Protection and insulation should be made according to the place of application.
(It opens when the electricity comes out and returns to the closed position when you cut off the electricity.)
-Minimum and maximum pressure values in the line or system you will use are very important in selecting the valve.
-The quality and temperature of the fluid are direct factors in the selection of the valve.
-Pay attention to the installation and ensure that the direction of the fluid is in the same direction as the arrow mark on the body.
-Since the solenoid valve does not function as a check valve, fluid flows back in case of reverse pressure. In these cases, the solenoid valve
then installing a check valve is correct in terms of connection.
-The line where the valve is installed must be cleared of dirt.
