Double flanged double eccentric (off-axis) butterfly valves are used in a wide range of areas from pumping stations to irrigation lines, from transmission lines to treatment plants, from ponds and dams to hydroelectric power plants.
Butterfly valves are on-off valves. Half-open or half-closed disc positions to control the flow cause cavitation.
Double flanged double eccentric butterfly valves are controlled by gearbox and flywheel, electric actuator, pneumatic actuator, hydraulic actuator and counterweight. They have low operating torques.
Body and flap designs increase flow efficiency thanks to its hydrodynamic structure that provides minimum resistance to flow. Shafts are produced in two parts. Since the butterfly valve is double eccentric and thanks to the conical structure of the weld filler body seat, the sealing gasket does not come into contact with the body seat when it is in the open position. In addition, the sealing gasket does not rub against the body seat during the opening and closing of the damper. These features extend the life of the gasket. In the closed position, the sealing gasket provides double-sided sealing by pressing the conical shaped sealing surface. The conical body seat is made with fully automatic robots, thus guaranteeing the perfect sealing surface.
The clapper and shaft connection of our butterfly valve is a gapless polygonal connection.
Our polygon-type bedding application does not require the shaft and flap to be attached to each other with pins or wedges, so vibration, abrasion and internal corrosion problems caused by shaft and wedge welded gaps are eliminated.
The polygonal shaft and valve seat do not require the use of extra pins and wedges for the connection and prevent the fluid from passing through the pin grooves, contacting the unpainted inner parts of the plug and corroding, thus extending the product life of the butterfly valve.
The rear part of the shaft bearing on the valve is manufactured as completely closed. This process is an innovation that prolongs the life of the butterfly valve, unlike the examples where the shaft bearing is closed with plugs and paste and the fluid leaks inside and causes corrosion.
