Control valves have the function of controlling the position of the damper by using the energy of the transported water, as expressed in the EN 1074-5 standard. They can operate hydraulically with the help of spring or diaphragm, or the opening rates can be controlled with the help of an adjustable pilot valve.

The M3000 control valve series is reduction through (the flap size is smaller than the valve inlet and outlet dimensions); this provides an enhanced regulation performance and energy dissipation capability.
The M2000 control valve series is full bore (the flap size is the same as the valve inlet and outlet dimensions), it is recommended for use as ON/OFF and for regulation applications at low pressure differences.
CONTROL VALVE WORKING PRINCIPLE
Control valves get the energy required for their operation from the pressure of the flow passing through the equipment mounted on them.
The flow at point A is transferred to chamber C with the help of an external hydraulic circuit (not shown in the picture). Pilot valves used in the hydraulic circuit differ according to the desired function from the valve. It determines the opening and closing of the pressure control valve in chamber C; If this pressure increases, the control valve closes, if the pressure decreases, the valve opens.
